"Apart from the three cellists, Perez and drummer Mikko Sirén, the hidden hero of the album is producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has made Apocalyptica sound punchier and more colourful than ever before."

On their eighth album, self-proclaimed “cello metal” group Apocalyptica take an important step by recruiting Franky Perez as permanent vocalist. A smart decision by innovator and band leader Eicca Toppinen, as this unifies the sound and flushes away allusions to a project with fluctuating vocalists. Apart from the three cellists, Perez and drummer Mikko Sirén, the hidden hero of the album is producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has made Apocalyptica sound punchier and more colourful than ever before.
