Sakari Ylivuori is a researcher at the National Library of Finland and serves as an editor for Jean Sibelius Works, a complete critical edition. In addition to his research, he has published two books on music history and has regularly written music-related articles for several Finnish newspapers and magazines, including Hufvudstadsbladet, Muusikko, and Sulasol-lehti. He currently also serves as editor-in-chief of Musiikki, a peer-reviewed journal.
